Scouts for Ukraine has donated $10,000 to support Titans Under Sails, an NGO helping Ukrainian defenders, especially those who have lost limbs, rebuild both their body and spirit through the freedom of the sea. By supporting Titans Under Sails, we are helping veterans recover their physical and spiritual selves, and chart new horizons for their future.
The open sea offers boundless freedom, where strength is rediscovered, balance is regained, and confidence is reborn. For many veterans, psychological rehabilitation is just as vital as physical healing. Over the course of a 7-day catamaran voyage, participants learn to master the management of their vessel, navigate open waters, and rely on each other as a crew. It’s not just about raising sails, it’s about rebuilding lives, building physical endurance, banishing fears, and restoring a real passion for life.
Fifty individuals participated in this third sailing expedition, including 19 veterans dealing with amputations, 5 defenders, 20 volunteers, and 5 skippers. Among the volunteers were 5 plastuny from the USA, 1 from Sweden, and 3 from Ukraine.
These journeys enable veterans find new meaning and purpose, feel the power of brotherhood and unity, and regain confidence and belief in themselves. Titans Under Sails is more than a voyage. It is a starting point for change — a force that inspires healing, unity, and the courage to face the future with renewed strength.

«Scouts for Ukraine» пожертвували $10,000 на підтримку громадської організації Титани під Вітрилами яка допомагає українським захисникам, особливо тим, котрі втратили частини тіла, відновити себе завдяки свободу моря. Підтримуючи Титани під Вітрилами, ми допомагаємо ветеранам віднайти свою могутність та відкрити нові можливості в житті.
Відкрите море дарує безмежну свободу, де можна відновити силу, знайти рівновагу, та відродити впевність. Для багатьох ветеранів, психологічна реабілітація є рівно важливою, як і фізичне зцілення. Протягом 7-денної подорожі на катамарані, учасники навчаються керувати судном, орієнтуватися у відкритих водах, та полягати на один одного. Йдеться не лише про підняття вітрил, а про перебудову життя. Фізична витривалість зміцнюється, страхи зникають, і запал до життя повертається.
П’ятдесять осіб брало участь у треті вітрильні експедиції, з них 19 ветеранів з ампутаціями, 5 захисників, 20 волонтерів, та 5 капітанів. Серед волонтерів було 5 пластунів з США, 1 зі Швеції, та 3 з України.
Ветерани знаходять нове значення і ціль, відчуваючи силу братерства та єдності, а також відновляють самовіру. «Titans Under Sails» – це більше ніж звичайна подорож. Це відправна точка для змін, яка надихає на зцілення, єдність, і відвагу зустріти майбутнє з оновленою силою.
