About Us

Scouts for Ukraine is a group within Plast, Ukrainian Scouting Organization – USA, created after the Russian full-scale invasion in February 2022 and tasked with fundraising and logistical efforts to provide humanitarian aid for Ukraine.

The Plast organization has over 10,000 members in Ukraine, who range from defenders on the front lines, to supply chain organizers, to caretakers of displaced children, as well as key individuals in the many jobs the war effort requires. Plast members in the US learn about the current needs in Ukraine and, through Scouts for Ukraine, support their fellow scouts by supplying them with medical equipment and supplies, warm clothing, transport vehicles, funds for sending children to camps, logistical help, etc. Please see Plast Scouts in Action for complete details about Scouts for Ukraine activities since February 2022.
