Since the beginning of the Russian aggression, 80 Ukrainian plastuny have given their lives in the Russo-Ukrainian War. They were raised with a deep sense of duty, integrity, and love for their homeland, and they answered the call to defend Ukraine in its darkest hour. Many were still in their youth, yet they displayed courage and selflessness far beyond their years. Each loss is deeply felt across the Plast community and throughout the country. These plastuny embodied the very ideals they were taught: to serve others before themselves, to protect the vulnerable, and to stand firm in the face of injustice. They lived with purpose, and they died with honor.
We remember them not only as heroes of Ukraine, but as brothers and sisters of Plast and our shared scouting family. Their memory strengthens our resolve to carry on their mission, support those still serving, and build a free, peaceful future worthy of their sacrifice. Their names and stories will never be forgotten.

З початку російської агресії, 80 українських пластунів віддали своє життя у російсько-українській війні. Ці пластуни були виховані з глибоким почуттям обов’язку, чесності, та любові до Батьківщини. Вони відгукнулися на заклик захистити Україну у її найтемнішу годину. Багато з них були ще зовсім молодими, але проявили відвагу й самопожертву, що перевершували їхній вік. Кожна втрата глибоко відчувається не тільки у пластовій спільноті, але також і по всій країні. Ці пластуни втілювали ідеали, яких їх навчали: служити іншим перед собою, захищати вразливих, і стояти твердо перед лицем несправедливості. Вони жили з метою — і загинули з честю.
Ми пам’ятаємо їх не лише як героїв України, але і як братів та сестер нашої пластової родини. Їхня пам’ять зміцнює нашу рішучість продовжувати їхню місію, підтримувати тих, хто ще служить, і будувати вільне, мирне майбутнє, гідне їхньої жертви. Їхні імена та історії ніколи не будуть забуті. Вічна їм памʼять.
